In 2020, The Galaxie self-funded a series of 18 'stoop performances' in neighborhoods throughout Chicago, bringing the joy of spontaneous performance to communities in need of a safe and responsible escape from the everyday. In 2021 we are excited to have the community invite us back into their yards, driveways and parking lots. 

The Corner Cabaret is Chicago's only pop-up Vaudeville show, appearing in neighborhoods throughout the Chicagoland area.

30 minutes beginning to end invites passerby to stop, stare, laugh and participate in this original 'stoop series' that has its found home in neighborhoods in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs as well as the centerpiece for large venues such as Navy Pier's Polk Brother's outdoor stage and the Evanston History Center.
